Fragments

Fragments are a virtual, character-bound currency on Keyfall. Awarded passively for active play time, Fragments allow players to protect their precious gear, purchase utility consumables, and acquire keys to pull rare cards from the Mob Card Crate.

Non-Transferable Account Currency

Unlike Rubies, Fragments are completely virtual and tied to your account. They cannot be dropped, traded to other players, or sold in player chest shops.

How to Earn Fragments

Fragments are awarded automatically to active players on the network:

Passive Play Time

You passively accumulate 1 Fragment per minute of active play time.

Location: Midgarde Hub Only

MVP Rank Boost

While regular players only earn Fragments inside the Midgarde spawn city, players with the MVP Rank earn Fragments anywhere across the entire network.

Location: Unrestricted (Any Realm)

Fragment Utilities

Spend your accumulated Fragments on these essential progression and utility services:

Equipment Soulbinding

Protect your valuable refined gear. The Soulbinding NPC located on the Midgarde walls binds equipment to your character so it is never dropped upon death. This service only accepts Fragments as payment.

Card Crate Keys

Pull rare hostile mob cards from the sacred Card Crate inside the Midgarde Church. Purchasing a Card Crate Key costs 500 Fragments (instead of 100 Card Dust) at the key merchant.

Alternative Consumables Payment

Save your Rubies. The Consumable Merchant outside the Midgarde walls accepts Fragments as an alternative payment method to purchase custom status potions, repair kits, and other items.
